About

The Royal Commission and Board of Inquiry into the Protection and Detention of Children was established on 1 August 2016.  The Hon Margaret White AO and Mr Mick Gooda were appointed as joint Commissioners. The Commissioners were asked to look at the Northern Territory’s youth detention and child protection systems over the 10 years from 1 August 2006.
